Toshiba Laptop Keyboard Not Working At All
Enabling hotkeys - also known as shortcut keys - on your Toshiba laptop computer makes your business more efficient. Hotkeys let you and your team quickly launch favorite programs and business applications with a press of a key on the laptop's keyboard.
After setting up a hotkey, press the assigned key at the same time as either the 'Fn' Function key or the 'Alt' and 'Ctrl' keys. This launches the system utility or program so you don't need to search for it on the desktop screen, taskbar or Windows Start menu. In addition to the standard Windows hotkey feature, many Toshiba laptops offer additional hotkey functions, known as Hotkey Cards, that you enable to control system utilities. Tips. Windows groups some programs in folders on the Start menu, so in Step 3 you might need to double-click the applicable program folder to view the shortcut icon for the program or applicaton. If prompted in Step 6, enter your Windows administrator password, which is usually the same as your Windows login password. On corporate networks, ask your network administrator to provide this password.
After pressing and holding down the 'Fn' key to display the Toshiba's hotkey card, cycle through the displayed options by pressing the the hotkey repeatedly, then releasing the 'Fn' key to define your option.
